Our Cycle Insurance product has been created by people who love to travel and also love cycling. This has helped us to develop a policy that anticipates the needs of every type of cyclist. We offer Single and Annual Multi-Trip policies with a choice of 3 different levels of cover – Element, Protect and Optimum. All policies cover Recreational cycling as standard but if your’re planning more adventurous pursuits such as mountaing biking or BMX, it’s easy to upgrade to our Touring or Extreme activities cover. Our Extreme activities cover also provides cover for Triathlon events*

Recreational Cycle Insurance
If the style of your holiday is more geared towards relaxing with a leisurely cycling trip and you are planning on taking your bike along with you to explore the local area, our Recreational Cycle Insurance product may be the right policy for you. Recreational covers you for non-competitive recreational cycling and incidental cover for off-road mountain biking (non-downhill). In addition to the Recreational cover for cycling we know that there may well be other activities or sports you want to try out. Our policies provide you with cover for a number of different activities including trekking, bungee jumping and a variety of watersports to name but a few.
Touring Cycle Insurance
If you’re a cyclist who enjoys doing off-road mountain biking or are planning on touring a country by bike then our Touring Cycle Travel Insurance is for you. Covering you for all the activities included in our Recreational Cycle Insurance policy, our Touring policy is ideal for any cycling enthusiast and offers additional cover for touring and non-incidental off-road mountain biking (non-Downhill).
Extreme Cycling Insurance
If cycling for you is all about the thrill of mountain biking downhill, crossing the finish line at a track or road event, or showing off your BMX or freestyle tricks, and you want to experience new cycling challenges across the world, then our Extreme Cycle Travel insurance may be just what you are looking for. With the same covers as our Recreational and Touring policies, the Extreme policy also covers you for BMX-ing, downhill mountain biking, freestyle, time-trialling and track & road racing. As people who love to travel and also have a passion for cycling, we have designed our Extreme cover with the needs of even the most extreme cycling enthusiast in mind. Participating in a Triathlon is becoming more and more popular with cyclists looking to find new challenges and with our Extreme policy you are able to upgrade your policy to include Triathlon cover.

Essential cover & upgrade options for tailored cover
We cover all the essential elements of your holiday including medical expenses, cancellation, curtailment, personal effects, legal costs and expenses. We also offer you the option to upgrade your cancellation cover, useful if you have booked something like a course and would like to cover the expense of your fees in case you are unable to attend.
Clearly your bike is an essential element of your cycling holiday. Our policies cover bicycles worth up to £2,500 but we also offer you the opportunity to upgrade your bicycle cover to up to £5,000. All of our Cycle Insurance policies cover your bicycle in the case of theft and accidental damage.
The Bike: the most important part of cycling
We understand that for cycling enthusiasts your bike is an incredibly essential element of your cycling holiday. Our policies cover bicycles worth up to £1,000 but we also offer you the opportunity to upgrade your bicycle cover to up to £5,000. All of our Cycle Insurance policies cover your bicycle in the case of theft and accidental damage, meaning you won’t be left stranded if something happens to your bike.
With Optimum policies, personal accident or damages caused during your trip are covered up to £30,000.
Cycling insurance for everybody, everywhere, everytime
If you’re planning a holiday with your partner, family or taking the trip on your own we offer individual, couple, family, and single parent policies. Our Cycling Insurance offers you cover for an international choice of destinations, including the UK, with our Single Trip policy offering up to 90 days of cover. We also offer an annual multi-trip policy, with 31 days of cover, ideal if you plan to travel throughout the year for various competitions, events or festivals in the international cycling calendar.
In addition to the extensive cycling cover on our Extreme policy, we know that there may well be other activities or sports you want to try out when you’re away. Our policies provide you with cover for a number of different sports, water sports and extreme activities including bungee jumping.
